Data We Collect and How We Use It

We feel that your personal information is yours, and we want to have as little of it as possible. To that end, we do not collect any personal information about you unless you contact Us yourself.

We collect anonymous usage analytics, such as device type and operating system version, and actions completed in GPSTrack. These analytics contain no personally-identifiable information. We use this information to understand usage and improve GPSTrack.

When collecting analytics, Our server software may temporarily store basic information, such as your IP address. This data is not linked to analytics. Logs are deleted on a regular basis.

If you have purchased a subscription, analytics may record information about your subscription, such as its purchase and expiration times. This information is not linked to your identity.

We collect your name and email address only if you send Us feedback. This is not associated with usage analytics. We do not send marketing email. We do not sell information to third-parties.

We have not, and will never, sell any data to advertisers or third-parties.

Location Tracking

GPSTrack's primary function is to record GPS location information. When you have GPSTrack open, it uses your location information to show your position on a map, and displays a textual version of that information. This information is only saved if you start recording a track. GPSTrack saves recorded tracks only to your device.

We do not collect your location information. Your saved tracks are sent out of the app only when you explicitly share a recorded track.
